Channel Letters

A typical channel letter is a custom fabricated 3D letter made from aluminum and has a channel in which a light source is placed to light up the letter. These letters are typically illuminated with LED’s – being the most popular since they consume a fraction of the power and are most cost effective to maintain. Channel letters are by far the most highly visible and the most versatile and have the greatest visual impact Day or Night.

Types of channel letters:

Standard Channel Letters: These have coloured Plexiglas faces illuminated with either neon or led in an aluminum frame and aluminum back.

Reverse Channel Letters: These are often called halo-lit signs and are built the opposite of standard channel letters. They have aluminum faces and clear Plexiglas backs. The result is a halo of light around the letter at night. These types of signs are elegant looking during the day, and really come to life at night.

Open Face Channel Letters: These signs are manufactured with either a clear Plexiglas face or no face at all, to expose the neon inside the sign. These types of signs really grab your attention and let you truly feel the neon as a part of the sign. Open Face Channel Letters are very effective for aggressively grabbing attention.
